Monthly Meeting 18 September 2024
Our AGM will be held before the talk.
Variable stars and how to measure them
About the Talk
Les will discuss the types of variable stars and how it’s possible to measure them using photometry techniques from data acquired using standard equipment used for astrophotography and use the analysis to contribute to stellar research programmes.

He is also responsible for acquiring images using the AMAT and other small scopes at ROG. He teaches introductory online courses on astronomy and astrophotography.
